Over the past week, the University has been experiencing email delivery issues that have resulted in seemingly random, but significant delivery delays of several hours to several days. At this point, USC Information Technology Services (ITS) believes the problem is due to email being quarantined in Microsoft’s cloud environment for reasons that are not yet clear.
ITS is working with Microsoft engineers and a resolution of this issue is a top priority for ITS. Our Technical Services and Operations team will also stay on top of this issue and will provide updates as soon as we hear of new developments.
